'I reached out to Mrs Veena Sampath asking for help when things weren't going very well at work for me.
I had difficulty focusing on work, and that caused my productivity to go downhill. I knew things weren't going well, but I didn't know what I could do to improve things. I was hesitant to take the help offered by my employer. Neither did I want to discuss with any of my friends. Not because I wanted to keep my struggles private, but rather I didn't have the confidence that they'll quite understand what I actually mean.
Mrs Veena was patient and let me take the time to describe what I was going through. She told me that she was not the one that'd provide a solution, but rather she'd create a space where I myself can see what the trouble is. She asked me the right questions making me look in the direction of a solution. Turned out, I was so overwhelmed by the problem that I wasn't even thinking about the solution. Mrs Veena's questions put me in the right frame of mind.
It's been a few months since that conversation. I have since been happy most of the time. I am able to focus on work and do what's necessary, even if the to-do list is growing rapidly. (Earlier, the same would bog me down, and cause me to lose interest.)

'Hello all
Have been thinking of writing my personal experience on this page for a very long time.
Just to make sure that the impact and shift in life due to veena's sessions have had on me should be experienced by all .
I always believed that when you are spiritual and have faith in goodness,you always got sent good people along your way.
I have been reading veena's write ups and replies on Uktp(A Facebook group we both are in) for quite sometime, till one day I felt why should I wait to have some issue to reach out to her?
First of all I don't think mindfulness or any kind of mental wellbeing training or care should be postponed until we really are facing some issues in our life .Like we look after our body , we should regularly take care of our mind too .
I am grateful that my life with some small issues here and there has otherwise been very smooth sailing.
The sessions with veena are a lesson for us to look at life in a different perspective and she helps us with the process of understanding the importance to be in the present and not divulge in the past or get anxious on future.
She has a very calm demeanour, and connects and understands you very quickly, which helps a lot with simple day to day tweaks in life that have a big meaningful impact.
In conclusion I really find myself a happier person, less anxious, I have also started thinking more on solutions than the problem itself.
The breathing technique has helped me to bring back the mind to the present very quickly.
